Linda Rick first started her business as a hobby in 1990. She started with full porcelain dolls and soon began offering them to the wholesale gift markets in Michigan and Atlanta. In 1998 her dolls were a huge success at Toy Fair. 1998 also saw the addition of 4 additional lines under The Doll Marker: The Doll Maker & Friends, Key to My Heart (my personal favorites), Lee Middleton Moments, and Lovee Dovie Dolls.
In 2001 Linda became the doll designer for Precious Moments, Inc., transforming Precious Moments dolls into an award winning division of Precious Moments, Inc. Then, in 2010 she was granted the license to produce Precious Moments vinyl dolls. Over the years, The Doll Maker has been nominated and won numerous awards, including the Diamond Awards, Awards of Excellence, and the prestigious DOTY Award. Please take a few minutes to enjoy our ever growing collection of Linda Rick dolls.
