MISS REVLON DOLLS
After the success of the Ideal Toni doll (American Character also made a version of the Toni dolls), Ideal partnered with the Revlon Cosmetics Company for another advertising doll and released the Miss Revlon dolls. Miss Revlon was produced from 1956 to 1959. They were made in various sizes of 15", 18", 20", 22" and 26". The 22" doll is hard to find wearing a complete original outfit as she was not made during the entire four year run. The 26" doll is even more elusive to collectors.
A real contender in the vintage fashion doll line and released to compete with Vogue's Jill, Ideal released the ever popular Little Miss Revlon in ____. Miss Revlon is only 10" tall and has a twist and turn waist. Ideal developed and released multiple outfits and accessories for this doll. Today, she remains a favorite among collectors of all ages.
18" Miss Revlon in Kissing Pink - Pink Version
This is a very nice example of the 18" Miss Revlon doll. She is wearing the Pink version of the Kissing Pink dress. I do not believe that her shoes are original. From the collection of V. Donally.
20" Miss Revlon in Kissing Pink - Yellow Version
This lovely Miss Revlon doll was purchased directly from her original owner. The beautifully sewn mommy made wardrobe shown below was a bonus. This Miss Revlon is all original in the Yellow version of the Kissing Pink dress. From the collection of V. Donally.
