MAGIC ATTIC CLUB HEATHER - ADVENTURE COSTUMES

ABOUT HEATHER

Heather was introduced by the Georgetown Collection in 1995 along with a nightgown and bedroom set and three costumes (complete with accessories) that were specific to her.  Each of her costumes relates to one of her books.  Her first were the costumes were the ball gown from Heather Belle of the Ball, the Riding Outfit from Heather Takes the Reins, and the ballerina costume from Heather at the Barre.  In 1996 the book Viva Heather was introduced along with a very colorful Gypsy costume.  Heather was given a shiny gown complete with boa to coincide with her new book Heather goes to Hollywood for 1997.  Heather's last costume was a fun 1950's style poodle skirt and sweater to complement her new book, Heather and the Pink Poodles.  Please enjoy the photos of Heather and her outfits below!
Please bear with me while this page, along with the other MAC Adventure pages are being upgraded.  Check back soon for more great photos of the girls in costume.

HEATHER AT THE BARRE
Heather's ballet costume was first introduced in 1995 and included the leotard, tutu, pink tights, toe shoes and hair scrunchie.  Her warm-up outfit was sold separately and included leotard, leggings, headband, and slippers and was available during 1996 and 1997. Heather's Barre was introduced in 1995 and was sold with the leg warmers.  In 1996 the barre was reintroduced and sold without the leg warmers.  The lovely satin jacket was sold in 1996, complete with matching ballet bag and leg warmers.  Heather is shown with her crutches.  The crutches, first aid kit and flowers were sold together during 1995 and again in 1997.  Doll, costume and accessories are from the collection of D. Donally.

HEATHER TAKES THE REINS
Here, Heather is shown in her riding costume with the accessories that were available.    Heather's riding costume was introduced in 1994.  The outfit shown here was produced from 1995 on.  The outfit includes the tan pants, boots, red jacket and white shirt.  The hat was also sold together with a riding crop, pictured below. The 1994 riding hat was hard plastic.  Another accessory available was the grooming kit and tack box set.  Note the embroidery detail on the towel.  The Grooming Kit included the brushes, towel, saddle soap and basket.  In 1999 the saddle soap was discontinued and no longer included with the grooming kit. The Tack Box accessory included the ribbons, programs and wooden box.  Since no horse was ever produced for Heather, the American Girl doll Felicity's horse Penny was used. Doll, costume and accessories are from the collection of D. Donally.

HEATHER BELLE OF THE BALL
Heather models her ball gown and slippers below.  The necklace, bracelet and tiara were sold as a separate accessory set.
Heather's cape and purse were another accessory set sold together in 1995 and 1998.  Heather's lovely gold jewelry box was also sold separately.  I just love her beautiful velvet sequined purse.  Doll, costume and accessories are from the collection of D. Donally.

Heather's jewelry set included the coin necklace, bracelet and the red rose pictured in her hair.  The shawl and tambourine was another accessory set available.  Note tambourine has wooden sides and elastic so that she can hold it in her hand.  Doll, costume and accessories are from he collection of D. HEATHER GOES TO HOLLYWOOD
Heather's Hollywood costume included the gown, white boa and silver slippers.
The movie board accessory was sold together with the bracelet, necklace and gloves.   I love this hat accessory with the sparkling netting it is one of my favorites.  The hat, hatbox and purse were sold together and only available in 1997 and 2000.  Every Diva needs her fainting couch - here Heather strikes a pose on hers. The fainting couch is another accessory for this play set.   The fan and sunglasses featured in some of the pictures were part of an accessory set which also included a Maggy award and black & white publicity photos.   The "pearl" necklace and gloves were also sold separately.  Doll, costume and accessories from the collection of D. Donally

HEATHER AND HE PINK POODLES
The Heather and the Pink Poodles outfit includes the grey Poodle skirt, pink pullover sweater, petticoat, sox and saddle shoes.  Who remembers saddle shoes? The pink sweater and scarf were sold separately as was Heather's golden Poodle necklace.  I love the detailing on the necklace.   Doll, costume and accessories from the collection of D. Donally
